Before I start, ANY MODERATOR WHO KNOWS A WAY TO NOT GET SCAMMED, UPDATE THIS POST. .

-----------------------------------------------------------
|
Taking Screenshots: Press on your keyboard 'Print Screen' or anything
similar. The link will display in your Chat Window. Find the picture.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, let's go through the common scams that people get scammed with:

1. The Invisible Fake GM
2. The GM Gameshow
3. The Duplicating Service

1. The Invisible Fake GM

First off, you're in a Chatroom.
You're making a trade with someone...

===
And then a GAMEMASTER(Fake GM) starts talking!

PLEASE REMEMBER... ANYONE WHO TALKS IN A CHATROOM HAS THEIR NAME IN THE LIST
Also check the NUMBER of people in the Chatroom. ^^^^^^ (2/2)?

===

If
this happens to you, take a screenshot and upload to Photobucket,
copying the DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE (on the bottom of the page) textbox,
and posting in the Report a player section.

2. The GM Gameshow

You are minding your own business and...

QUOTE
iamGMgiggle : Congratulations! You have just won a +10LKH and +10BananaHat!
iamGMgiggle : Answer this question "What MVP is an angel AND a poring?"
iamGMgiggle : To get the prize, just PM me with the following:
iamGMgiggle : Answer , Account name, password.

If a GM ever does an event for ONE PERSON, and doesn't announce it... Then either they're a bad GM or they're an imposter.

===
If
this happens to you, take a screenshot and upload to Photobucket,
copying the DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE (on the bottom of the page) textbox,
and posting in the Report A Player section..

3. The Duplicating Service

A player comes to you and says they can duplicate your item.
If
you can see them... rightclick their name and click "Open 1:1 Chat".
This way, you can get a small window with them saying they're doing
something illegal. Screenshot them.
If you can't see them... screenshot the chat window, but make sure you get their ENTIRE conversation.

copying the DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE (on the bottom of the page) textbox,
and posting in the REPORT A PLAYER section.

Good one Cathc
In any circumstances NEVER give out your id/pass to anyone even a proper gm because there is no good reason they will need it

Also someone once tried this on me

first they offer 2 trade a card for a another in public chat, when you
deal them to trade they will first put the right card in the trade
window and then cancel the deal making some stupid excuse. Then they
will re deal but this time they will put a different card, most people
don't check for the name a second time and since all card sprites look the same theres no way to tell with a quick glace

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DEALS THOROUGHLY
